The Role
We are seeking an enthusiastic and highly motivated individual with excellent technical accounting and communication skills, eager to advance their career by gaining valuable experience in the Pensions Accountancy section.
Greater Manchester Pension Fund (GMPF) is a regional pension fund managing the Local Government Pension Scheme (LGPS). It is operated by Tameside MBC and based in Droylsden. GMPF is one of the largest pension funds in the UK, with over 414,000 members, more than 600 employers, and last year paid out over £880 million in benefits.
About You
The successful candidate will perform a variety of financial management and accountancy tasks. This role offers an excellent opportunity for those looking to progress in their accountancy career and develop skills in investment, accountancy, and management.
The ideal candidate will be AAT qualified and have made progress towards CCAB qualification.
