Your new school
Your new school will depend on where you would like to work and how far you're willing to travel. Lots of schools are getting in touch at the moment for roles starting asap and, therefore, I'm expecting it to be busy in the nexting months with September just around the corner. This role ispletely flexible around the days you can work, whether this be full-time or part-time. Having use of a car is beneficial but by no means essential.

Your role will also depend on what you're looking for and what your expertise is in and what you prefer. Most schools look for an experienced TA in either Reception, KS1 or KS2 – but, of course, you can decide what your preferences are.You will be required to support children, the whole class, 1:1 or in groups, you will have to follow teachers' instructions, liaise with other members of staff and also use your own initiative.
What you'll need to succeed
1. You must have at least 40 days of recent experience working as a Teaching Assistant within the last 3 years, which we are able to reference.
2. Hays wees all candidates, whether you are qualified or unqualified!
3. You must be approachable and have a calm and understanding approach to working with children.
What you'll get in return
4. Flexible working options available
5. Holiday pay and pension contributions per week
6. Continued professional development and support
