The job itself
We are seeking to recruit an enthusiastic and highly motivated team member to join the Special Educational Needs and Disability Assessment and Review Team (SENDART) in the role of SENDART Assistant.
The successful candidate will provide administrative support to the Education, Health and Care Officers (EHCOs) to ensure the team meets its statutory duty within the EHC assessment and review processes.
Candidates will therefore need to demonstrate their ability to problem solve, work to tight deadlines, and work as a team-player. We are looking for someone with experience of working in a busy office environment and an awareness of the EHC process for children and young people with a special educational need and/or disability would be invaluable to this role.
