Salary Range: £25,186 - £26,244 pro-rata, per annum (actual salary £12,933 - £13,476 per annum)

Contract Type:Permanent

The Role:

Join our friendly team as a Senior Administrative Assistant at Fareham Community Link, a day service for adults with learning disabilities.As an integral part of our small, supportive team, you’ll carry out a range of vital administrative and financial tasks that help ensure the smooth running of the service.


What you’ll do:

* Monitor and respond to emails and phone calls, acting as the first point of contact for visitors and staff where appropriate.
* Build and maintain positive working relationships with staff and service users.
* Resolve queries and escalate complex issues where required.
* Check and monitor data to maintain accurate records, including working with spreadsheets, financial records, and petty cash claims.
* Complete monthly financial reconciliations and support budgetary processes.


What we’re looking for:

* Previous administrative experience, with confidence handling financial data and spreadsheets.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build positive working relationships.
* Good IT skills, especially in Microsoft Word and Excel, and a willingness to learn new systems.
* Excellent attention to detail, organisation, and the ability to manage multiple tasks independently.
* Patience, compassion, and empathy in all interactions – treating service users with dignity and respect.
