*Turbo Driving are looking for HGV Class 1 drivers and HGV Class 2 drivers to join a growing transport and logistics team..*
Assessments before commencement of shifts, followed by a paid induction (paid back after a qualifying period) then you will be given an Immediate start.
*Experience needed : NONE*
Various start times available to suit your needs from 12.00pm right through until 01.00am - so you can select a start window that best suits you
Shift patterns for Class 2 HGV drivers start times are either hours between 10.00am - 15.00pm or 00.00- 02.00am
*All shift patterns considered - *4 on 4 off, 5 on 3 off, 5 shifts, 2 shifts, ad hoc and weekend only all available with this contract
*Rates: HGV Class 1 Driver*
*Days: 06.00am-14.00pm -* £16.80 Mon-Thurs, Fri £17.37, Sat £17.93 and Sun £18.22
*Afternoons: 14.00pm-22.00pm *£17.37 Mon-Thurs, Fri £17.93, Sat £16.50 and Sun £19.05
*PM Shifts: 22.00pm-06.00am *£18.15 Mon-Thurs, Fri £19.05, Sat £19.61 and Sun £19.94
*Rates: HGV Class 2 Driver*
*Days: 06.00am-18.00pm - £13.72*
*Nights: 18.00pm-06.00am - £14.84*
Average 10 hours a day
*Full time/part time and any shift pattern that you can work will be considered.*
The role:
As an HGV Class 1 Driver, you will:
* Trunk/Trailer swap with goods across regional/national routes
* No interaction with the load
* Conduct pre- and post-route vehicle checks and record via app
* Adhere to road safety regulations and company policies
* Ensure accurate and timely delivery of goods
As an HGV Class 2 driver, you will:
* Deliver pallets to other satellite branches
* Use pump truck
* Max 3-5 drops per shift
* local deliveries
* self load and self tip
About you:
As an HGV Class 1 or HGV class 2 Driver, you will have:
* A valid UK Category C/C+E driving license
* Up-to-date CPC and Digi-tacho cards
* Max 6 points (no CD/IN/TT/DR)
* Knowledge of driving regulations and compliance
* A professional and customer-focused approach
