Key Responsibilities of a Dementia Community Unit Manager * Act in accordance with the NMC code of professional conduct * Coordinate the planning and implementation of care * Manage and monitor service delivery * Deliver hands-on person-centred care * Maintain accurate records with our electronic care plans * Safe administration of medication * Assess, Plan, Implement and Evaluate care through developing individualised care plans and detailed risk assessments for residents * Ensure Residents receive care that promotes choice, dignity and respect * Involvement in working within a multi-disciplinary team of healthcare professionals * Lead and supervise a team of care workers, including undertaking supervisions & appraisals, and mentor new staff To succeed as a Unit Manager you will be * Registered with the NMC and hold a valid PIN * A team player who engages well with others * Strong communicator * Energetic and hard-working * Flexible and adaptable to change * Passionate about Dementia Car and offering quality services and want to...
