The Shore Group is actively seeking a Groundworks Foreman to oversee the delivery of civils and groundworks packages across multiple live construction sites in the South East. This is an excellent opportunity to join a forward-thinking business that delivers major infrastructure and build projects across the UK.
🔧 Key Responsibilities:

Lead site-based teams on drainage, foundations, external works, utilities, and site clearance.
*
Coordinate with site management and subcontractors to ensure timely delivery of works.
*
Ensure health & safety standards are strictly adhered to.
*
Read and interpret drawings, method statements, and risk assessments.
*
Report progress and issues to the Project Manager or Site Manager.
*
Manage materials, labour, and plant efficiently on site.
✅ Requirements:
*
Proven experience as a Groundworks Foreman or similar supervisory role in civil engineering.
*
Strong knowledge of all aspects of groundworks.
*
SMSTS or SSSTS essential.
*
First Aid qualification preferred.
*
Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
*
Full UK driving licence.
