Automotive Bodyshop Technician Required in Cranleigh, Surrey
Pay: £40,000 - £44,000 Basic + Overtime opportunity
Hours: 45 hours per week Monday - Friday with Saturdays on a rota
Are you an experienced and versatile Bodyshop Technician looking for a new challenge? Our client is opening a brand-new Bodyshop in Cranleigh, Surrey, and they are seeking a skilled Bodyshop Technician to join their growing team. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a thriving business and to contribute to the success of a modern, well-equipped workshop.

Duties
7. Repairing small to medium bodywork damage from start to finish, including dent pulling, filler application, sanding, priming, and painting (polishing not essential)
8. Stripping, preparing, and replacing damaged panels
9. Welding, fabrication, and panel alignment
10. Assessing vehicle damage and preparing repair plans
11. Managing insurance jobs, private work, and fleet repairs from intake to handover
12. Carrying out quality checks and final vehicle inspections
13. Maintaining workshop tools, equipment, and cleanliness standards
14. Completing all necessary paperwork of work carried out
Candidate spec
15. Proven experience as a Bodyshop Technician or a similar role
16. Competent in all aspects of body repairs from start to finish
17. A team player with good organisational skills
18. Able to work on a variety of insurance, private, and fleet repairs
19. Hold relevant qualifications and certifications in body repairs
