We are currently seeking an experienced Fire and Security Engineer to join our team in Portsmouth. In this role you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance and fault finding on Intruder Alarms, Fire Alarms, CCTV and Door Entry Systems across the Central South Coast.
Minimum qualifications
* Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role (Intruder Alarms, Fire Alarms, CCTV, Door Entry Systems).
* A full UK driving licence.
* Electrical installation knowledge and IPAF/PASMA certification are advantageous but not essential.
* Electrical experience is desirable, particularly 18th edition (not essential).
* Able to work well both independently and with a team.
Key responsibilities
* Install, maintain and troubleshoot Intruder Alarms, Fire Alarms, CCTV and Door Entry Systems.
* Collaborate with a team, while also having the confidence to work independently on various projects.
* Deliver excellent customer service while covering Hampshire, Sussex and surrounding areas.
* Participate in an on‑call rota system to provide out-of-hours emergency support (compensated overtime).
