£53,000 + Shift Allowance + Excellent Benefits Ready to make your application Please do read through the description at least once before clicking on Apply. 3 on / 3 off | Rotating Days & Nights | 6am6pm / 6pm6am A well-established packaging manufacturing site is looking to strengthen its engineering team with the addition of a Multi-Skilled Engineering Technician at its highly automated production facility This is an excellent opportunity to join a large-scale manufacturing operation where engineering reliability and fast response times are critical to maintaining production performance and customer service levels. The successful candidate will be a strong electrically biased engineer with experience working within fast-paced FMCG, packaging, manufacturing, or process environments. The Role Working as part of a busy engineering function, you will be responsible for maintaining, fault finding, repairing, and improving a range of automated production and packaging machinery across the site. Youll play a key role in reducing downtime, improving machine performance, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives within the operation. Key Responsibilities Attending machinery breakdowns and carrying out effective fault finding Completing planned preventative maintenance activities Diagnosing electrical and mechanical faults on automated equipment Supporting continuous improvement and engineering projects Assisting with machinery upgrades, installations, and commissioning Working closely with production teams to maximise equipment reliability Ensuring all engineering activities are completed safely and efficiently Maintaining maintenance records and engineering documentation What Were Looking For We are keen to speak with engineers who have strong electrical maintenance experience gained within a fast-moving manufacturing or FMCG environment.
