We are recruiting a Quantity Surveyor/Cost Manager to join our ambitious 2025 growth plans. Responsibilities
Provide pre‑ and post‑contract commercial advice, partnering with customers. Typical daily tasks include:
* Cost & Forecasting – Keep budgets on track and spot risks.
* Contract Handling – Work with NEC3/4 contracts and manage payments.
* Project Assurance – Check estimates and benchmark costs.
* Collaboration – Work with teams, clients and suppliers to drive innovation.
* Risk Management – Identify and mitigate financial risks.
* Measurement & Analysis – Review quantities and ensure accuracy.
* Report Writing – Summarise key findings and recommendations.
* Market Engagement – Sourcing costs and validating pricing.
What we are looking for
* HNC, HND or Degree in Quantity Surveying/Cost Management, Construction Law, or a related discipline.
* Professional qualifications/membership of RICS, CIOB, CICES, CIPS or equivalent encouraged.
* Relevant experience in Quantity Surveying/Commercial Management in the UK infrastructure sector.
* Experience managing NEC3/4 contracts.
* A passion for infrastructure, sustainability and delivering excellent work.
* Excellent communication skills and the ability to build relationships quickly with colleagues and clients.
