I'm currently recruiting for a well-established engineering client in Warwickshire who is looking to strengthen their on-site team with the addition of a Maintenance Engineer. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with hands-on experience maintaining industrial machinery to join a stable and supportive working environment.
The Role:
As a Maintenance Engineer, you'll be based on-site and responsible for the upkeep, repair, and improvement of a range of mechanical and electrical machinery. You'll work closely with production and engineering teams to ensure equipment is running efficiently and downtime is kept to a minimum.
Key Responsibilities:
Carrying out planned and reactive maintenance on machinery and equipment
Diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults and implementing effective solutions
Supporting continuous improvement initiatives and equipment upgrades
Ensuring all work is completed safely and in line with company standards
Maintaining accurate maintenance records and documentation
What We're Looking For:
Proven experience in a maintenance engineering role within a manufacturing or industrial environment
Strong mechanical and/or electrical fault-finding skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Good understanding of health and safety practices
Desirable:
Recognised engineering qualifications (e.g., NVQ, City & Guilds, HNC)
Experience with motors, pumps, conveyors, or similar equipment
