About the role
As the Sr. Global Manager – EHS, you will lead the global EHS program across Securitas’ datacenter physical security operations. You will be responsible for creating and managing systems, policies, training, and cultural initiatives that protect people and reduce risks. This role manages a geographically distributed team of EHS professionals and acts as the primary liaison with internal and external stakeholders, including client EHS leadership.
This high-impact, highly collaborative position is ideal for a senior leader experienced in global EHS operations, risk prevention, safety culture transformation, and managing large, cross-functional teams.
What you’ll do
You will lead the strategic development and execution of a global EHS program supporting datacenter physical security operations. You will oversee a distributed team of EHS professionals, ensuring compliance with regulations and promoting a safety culture. Your responsibilities include creating policies, defining KPIs, conducting risk assessments, managing emergency planning, mentoring staff, collaborating with stakeholders, investigating incidents, and managing client relationships to align with safety performance metrics.
What you need to apply
We seek a professional with a bachelor’s degree in environmental science, Industrial Hygiene, or a related field, or equivalent experience, along with relevant safety certifications. You should have 15+ years of experience leading EHS programs, with a background in global safety program development and compliance. Experience in datacenter environments and working with security vendors is a plus.
You should have strong leadership skills for global teams, strategic program management, and excellent communication skills, including presenting to senior leaders. A proven track record of influencing safety culture and aligning EHS initiatives with business goals is essential.
This role involves travel (approximately 30%), so a valid passport, a passion for travel, and flexibility for domestic and international trips are required. You must be comfortable working evenings or weekends during emergencies. Reliable communication and transportation means, legal work authorization, and proficiency in English are necessary.
