You will be joining a well‑established fit‑out contractor with a strong reputation for delivering high‑qualitymercial, retail and specialist interior projects. The business continues to grow its presence across Ireland and the UK and is now seeking an Estimator to support its expanding workload from its Newry office.
Your new role
As Estimator, you will play a central role in the preparation ofpetitive and accurate cost estimates for a wide range of fit‑out projects. You will review drawings, specifications and tender documents, liaise with subcontractors and suppliers, and prepare detailed cost breakdowns that support the wider pre‑construction andmercial teams. You will contribute to tender strategy, ensure all pricing is aligned with project requirements, and support the handover process to project delivery teams. This position offers the opportunity to work on diverse and fast‑paced projects where precision andmercial awareness are key.
What you'll need to succeed
You will bring experience in estimating within construction, fit‑out or a related sector, with strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret technical information confidently. You will befortable working with subcontractor pricing, managing multiple tenders at once and producing clear, well‑structured cost proposals. Strongmunication skills, attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem‑solving will be essential. Experience with estimating software or digital take‑off tools will be beneficial, though training can be provided for the right candidate.
