Our client seeking to recruit a full-time Trials Assistant to support the breeding team based principally in-field at trials sites in Cambridgeshire and Suffolk.
The successful candidate will demonstrate:
1. the ability to work as part of a team as well as on their own initiative
2. a logical and systematic approach to collection and reporting of data
3. an eye for detail and excellent communication skills
4. a flexible approach to manage peak seasonal workloads
5. an interest in GB agriculture generally and the potato crop in particular Reporting to the site Manager key responsibilities include:
6. accurate and timely recording of trials data and reporting of results
7. assisting with the management of large data sets
8. maintenance and presentation of trials photographs
9. supervision of casual staff during harvesting, grading and assessments of clones
10. assisting with off-site trials and demonstration sites as required
A full UK Driving Licence is essential but other training will be provided.
