Your Responsibilities:
As an Assistant Materials Engineer, you will play a vital role in ensuring the success of our projects. Your day-to-day tasks will include:
* Developing a comprehensive understanding of project specifications and the technical aspects of construction materials.
* Advising on necessary derogations and amendments to requirements and specifications.
* Providing technical guidance to project teams on the suitability and use of various materials, including concrete, asphalt, and aggregates.
* Assisting in the preparation of Material Acceptance Requests and monitoring feedback and technical queries.
* Coordinating materials specifications and supply chain management during mobilization and execution of works.
What We’re Looking For:
This role is perfect for you if you have:
* An HND, HNC, or NVQ in a relevant subject (beneficial).
* A degree in Civil Engineering, Materials, or Earthworks (desirable).
* Industry-accredited safety training, such as CSCS (Construction Skills Certification Scheme).
* Previous materials experience.
