Role Summary As the Outlet Trading Assistant you will play a key role in supporting the Branch Merchandiser to ensure that the outlets and digital channels maximise sales of terminal stock. You will work closely with the Next team and FF retail team, branch merching the outlet stores to ensure they have the right stock package, checking that stock is published online, assisting with markdowns and promotions in stores and online. This role is perfect for someone with a keen eye for detail, analytical skills and a passion for retail. Role Responsibilities
1. Working alongside Next team, ensure that the outlets have the right amount of stock across all key departments to meet the current trading requirement and sales forecast. Take action as required.
2. Be in contact with the FF retail team to ensure there is a joint approach taken for outlet stores between Next and FF.
3. Rolling up weekly and monthly terminal stock levels, reading reports and inputting into excel. Assisting the Branch Merchandiser with monthly finance meetings.
4. Reviewing the big volume lines for clearance and ensuring they are published on both digital websites - working alongside the Next team to ensure any issues are sorted out.
5. Input into the outlet activity plan.
6. Rolling up markdown and promotion data to run through with the Branch Merchandiser and ensure this is communicated and actioned accordingly.
7. Work with the outlets on any adhoc price changes.
8. Weekly check-in's with the Next team and anything actioned accordingly.
9. Working with the Next Branch merch team to ensure any outlet buys are allocated and replenished accordingly accordingly.
10. Action any 3rd party deals and stock donations including foundation and Next outlets.
11. Assisting with recall and inter branch transfers from full price stores.
Skills and Experience
12. Analytical skills: Numerical ability and experience with excel.
13. Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication, be able to communicate with all types of people at different levels.
14. Organisational skills: Effective planning and self-organisation capabilities.
15. Retail Background: Experience in a retail environment is ideal.
