Key Responsibilities
* Plan and carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive breakdowns.
* Troubleshoot and fault‑find on electrical systems, including PLCs where possible.
* Build effective working relationships with engineers and management teams.
* Develop and contribute to preventative maintenance plans to minimise breakdowns.
* Support installation and commissioning of new machinery.
* Contribute to continuous improvement projects and engineering developments on site.
Qualifications & Experience
* NVQ/ONC Level 3 (or equivalent) in Electrical Maintenance as a minimum.
* Proven experience in an Electrical Maintenance Engineer role within manufacturing environments.
* Strong background in PPMs and breakdown response.
* Experience of fault‑finding on PLCs (desirable).
Electrical Maintenance Engineer – Leeds (ATA Recruitment)
Lead the maintenance of electrical and building services systems in a busy Leeds plant. Full‑time, contract.
Key Responsibilities
* Perform planned and reactive maintenance on electrical and building services systems.
* Lead and support a small shift team to ensure smooth operations.
* Work on systems such as lighting, power, AHUs, BMS and standby generators.
* Ensure compliance with health, safety and sustainability procedures.
* Maintain accurate maintenance records and service reports.

Salary: £45,842.60 per annum. Overtime paid at 1.5 × and double time on Sundays. 4 on, 4 off days and nights, 12 hr shifts.
Key Responsibilities
* Maintain maintenance documents and drawings to required standard.
* Diagnose complex electrical, control, fibre, profibus communication issues.
* Report poor maintenance practices and deviations from the Maintenance Management Framework.
* Use CMMS for work orders, recording time, spares and resources.
* Assist in mechanical plant upgrades as required.
Essential Criteria
* Strong fault diagnosis and rectification on control systems (PLCs, SCADA, etc.) and electrical systems up to 415V AC.
* Knowledge of electrical installations, testing, lighting maintenance and in‑service inspection.
* Competent in using testing equipment and hand tools.
* Excellent understanding of health, safety and environmental compliance.
* Knowledge of Electricity At Work Regulations, PTW and LOTO systems.
Electrical Engineer – Leeds (FMCG Food Production)
Full‑time, days‑based role with flexibility to support 24/7 manufacturing.
Role Purpose
Responsible for all electrical equipment and systems across the site, managing the maintenance team and ensuring effective maintenance planning.
