The Opportunity
Join the team of an award-winning gastro pub with rooms to assist the GM in the day to day running of this fantastic operation. Farm to fork ethos celebrating local seasonal produce coupled with European and Asian influences all served in a relaxed setting with fantastic service. Owners with a people-first culture that prides themselves on retaining and investing in their team.
The Role:
Working closely with the GM and owners the AGM will drive the day to day operation, leading from the front being and ensuring standards are met across the board.
Key responsibilities will include:
Supporting with the full day to day running of the operation including ordering, SOPs, rotas, staffing and financials
Leading and supporting front-of-house service across bar and restaurant
Delivering consistently warm, professional and informal hospitality
Maintaining service standards across a quality-led, tasting-menu and a la carte environment
Acting as a trusted point of leadership during service
Helping develop, mentor and motivate the team
Upholding the values, culture and sustainability ethos of the business
The Candidate:
Experienced manager/supervisor within a quality food led operation with a passion for food and beverage and outstanding customer service:
Experience in FOH supervision or assistant management
Comfortable working with tasting menus and a la carte menus
Basic understanding of labour costs and operational controls
Knowledge and keen interest in wine and beverages
Natural leader with the ability to inspire their teams
Package:
Up to £45,000 based on 45 hours a week and a four day working week
Staff Accommodation available nearby at a cost
