The role
As a Generator / Diesel Engine Specialist, you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. Join Babcock at our Coulport site and become a key player in maintaining and improving critical infrastructure that supports national defence.
Day-to-day, As a Mechanical Specialist in our Generator Station, you’ll
1. Provide expert support for engine-related systems in Building .
2. Diagnose and solve mechanical and POL (Petrol, Oils & Lubricants) issues.
3. Support maintenance teams and projects with your specialist knowledge.
4. Ensure safety, quality, and environmental standards are upheld.
5. Act as an Authorised Person for Mechanical Pressure Systems and POL.
This role is a 4 day working week, 36 hours per week and is based on site at Coulport, Faslane.
Essential experience of the Generator / Diesel Engine Specialist
6. You must have experience working on Diesel, Oil or Petrol Engines.
7. You will be experienced working on Generators.
