Job Overview:
Arm is looking for a skilled, experienced, and motivated Software Team Leader in Bristol to join our Software Engineering group. As part of the System Solutions team, you will help evolve Computing Infrastructure using Neoverse CSS, working with a distributed team across global engineering centers. Your main responsibilities will include release engineering and managing version control of production firmware releases.
Responsibilities:
* Manage release engineering and branch management for production firmware releases.
* Provide tested, high-quality firmware releases to partners.
* Develop release plans collaboratively with stakeholders.
* Document release notes and communicate effectively with internal and external teams.
* Oversee the entire release process, including branch management and software version control.
* Manage CI pipelines for firmware release processes.
* Lead, coach, and mentor a team of skilled software engineers.

Required Skills and Experience:
* Proven experience in release management and automation of product software.
* Experience in software building and build management for official release candidates and releases.
* Engineering management experience leading diverse, geographically dispersed teams.
Nice To Have Skills and Experience:
* Experience in release management of production firmware for servers.
* Hands-on experience with Yocto SDK.
* Defect triaging and management in system software releases.
* Knowledge of QA processes for server platform software.
* Familiarity with open-source projects like Linux Kernel, TF-A, EDK II, and OpenBMC.
