Pay Rate: £36.65 per hour
Job Description:
Liquid Personnel is seeking a dedicated and experienced Social Worker to join their Children in Care (CIC) Team. In this role, you’ll support looked-after children and young people, ensuring they receive the care, stability, and opportunities they need to thrive.
Responsibilities include:
* Managing a caseload of children and young people under the care of the local authority.
* Developing and reviewing care plans in line with statutory requirements.
* Ensuring safety by identifying safeguarding concerns and advocating for the children’s voices.
* Collaborating with foster carers, schools, health services, and attending multi-agency meetings such as LAC reviews.
* Preparing legal reports, maintaining records, supporting transitions like reunification or independence, and conducting statutory visits.
* Engaging in supervision and training to uphold professional standards.

Qualifications & Experience:
* Social Work England registration
* Right to work in the UK
* Full UK driving licence
* Degree in Social Work or equivalent
* Post-qualified experience in children in care, safeguarding, or statutory children’s services
