Retail Store Assistant
£12.21 per hour plus benefits

Working hours: Part-time, 6 hours per week on weekends

We’re seeking a motivated store assistant to join our trading team. You’ll serve as an ambassador for Cancer Research UK, creating a welcoming environment where the community can meet our team, learn about our work, and see the impact of our efforts. You’ll be surrounded by people equally dedicated to beating cancer.
What will I be doing?
1. Providing excellent customer and supporter service.
2. Working as part of the shop team to achieve sales and fundraising targets.
3. Maintaining shop standards, including visual presentation, safeguarding, compliance, and health and safety.
4. Building relationships within the local community and with colleagues.
5. Supporting fundraising events to meet targets.
6. Taking keyholder responsibilities as required (training provided).
7. Engaging in manual handling and physical activities as part of daily duties.

* Ability to manage your workload independently.

* Excellent communication skills.
* Flexibility to work on a rota basis, balancing business needs with personal commitments.
