The placements will take place within key departments in the Council and a number of approved employers within the city, who are able to open up their workplace to enable local people to develop their skills and employment prospects. This role supports our residents 18 plus, in particular our young adults aged 18 to 21 in accessing meaningful work experience placements across the city. You’ll be the first point of contact for candidates, employers, schools, colleges, and internal departments—providing digital and face-to-face support throughout the work experience journey. From registration and onboarding to placement coordination and post-placement reviews, you’ll play a vital role in helping participants gain confidence, develop skills, and move closer to employment.
