Professional Support Lawyer – Manchester
A highly respected international law firm is looking for an experienced Real Estate Lawyer to join its Knowledge team as a Professional Support Lawyer. Real estate is at the heart of the firm’s business, with one of the largest dedicated practices in the UK and this is an opportunity to play a pivotal role in shaping how the department delivers its work.
The role will involve:
* Creating and maintaining precedents, practice notes and know-how resources with a focus on commercial property matters
* Designing and delivering training to support the knowledge development of fee earners across the national team
* Providing regular legislative, case law and policy updates relevant to Real Estate Lawyers at all levels
* Working with innovation and business transformation teams to make greater use of workflow automation and AI products
* Supporting risk and compliance by working closely with the General Counsel and Risk team
* Assisting with external publications and thought leadership alongside the marketing and bids teams
* Building relationships with external organisations such as HM Land Registry and other industry partners to ensure best practice is embedded across the team
About You:
* Qualified solicitor with at least 5 years’ PQE in commercial real estate
* Strong technical expertise across landlord and tenant, asset management, investment, finance and development work
* A genuine interest in innovation and experience of using workflow automation and generative AI tools to improve service delivery
* Confident communicator with the ability to design and deliver engaging training
* Organised, proactive and able to prioritise effectively across a national team
* Prior PSL experience is an advantage but not essential, provided you are committed to moving into a knowledge and innovation role
