This Cover Manager has been made available by Secondary School in Doncaster. The school has a very dedicated workforce that focusses on the educational oues of all students and aims to create a learningmunity that is both supportive and safe in an environment of mutual respect.
Your new role
This school is currently looking for a temporary, full-time cover manager to start as soon as possible. In this position, you will play a key role in supporting the smooth running of the school inside and outside the classroom. Your time in this role will include:
1. Arrange cover for absences, on the day and preplanned
2. Liaise with external agencies
3. Induct and oversee supply staff
4. Manage cover supervisors, directing them each day.
5. General admin duties
6. Check and input the details of agency staff on the system, including copies of their DBS's.

To be successful in this Doncaster‑based school cover manager role, you should have:

11. Strong attention to detail and punctuality.
We will need to be able to obtain references to cover the last 2 years as a minimum and you will need to be willing to undergo an Enhanced DBS check if you don't already have a DBS on the update service.
