We have a wonderful opportunity for a Clinical Lead to join our friendly Rehab Without Walls team. The clinical lead provides clinical leadership, governance control and clinical support to all the case managers working for the brand. This role is accountable for ensuring safe effective and evidence-based delivery of person-centred case management services. The post holder oversees case managers' clinical practice, providing expert supervision, guidance and quality assurance in relation to complex caseloads, risk management, safeguarding and clinical decision making. Through close collaboration with the Brand Director and Senior Management the clinical lead contributes to service development, clinical strategy and workforce capability ensuring the case management brand aligns with organisational values and commitment to high quality care. This is a remote role supporting clients across Birmingham and surrounding areas. For this role you will need to be a driver with ability to travel and hold a Professional qualification in Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Nursing (RGN), Speech and Language Therapy, or Social Work (CQSW/DipSW), with current registration, with membership of the British Association of Brain Injury Case Managers (BABICM) and IRCM. What you'll be working: 35 hours a week Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm 1 hour unpaid lunch What you'll be doing: Recruitment, Team Development & Leadership Lead the recruitment, interviewing, induction, and professional development of associate and employed case managers to ensure a skilled and capable workforce that meets current and future business needs. Provide ongoing clinical and professional supervision to case managers, including regular client reviews, annual appraisals, and the development of individual professional plans. Ensuring BABICM Competencies are incorporated and maintained to ensure best practice. Business Development & Stakeholder Engagement Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective referrers, contributing to the ongoing growth and success of the business. Collaborate with the Brand Director to ensure the development and growth of the business. Actively engage and participate in networking events, supporting the company's growth and clinical excellence. Caseload Management & Clinical Oversight Monitor caseloads to ensure effective workload distribution and collaborate with the wider senior team to respond promptly to new enquiries. Ensure clinical services are delivered to the highest standards of care for clients and their families, while maintaining a cost-effective and efficient service. Audit and review client documentation to ensure it meets or exceeds standards and support the administration team in maintaining accurate central records. Regulatory Compliance & Governance In collaboration with the Registered Manager ensure all CQC requirements are met or exceeded, including preparing for inspections, evidencing best practices, and working alongside the Registered Manger to ensure that that regulated services comply with all relevant standards, regulations, and legislation. Make sure colleagues are aware of the mechanisms for speaking up in ACG and act where required. Maintain your own training compliance with and ensure you are up to date with regulatory standards. Responsibility for your own CPD. Adherence to all Group policies and procedures and ensuring that all colleagues in the service are aware of and understand company policies. What you'll have: Professional qualification in Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Nursing (RGN), Speech and Language Therapy, or Social Work (CQSW/DipSW), with current registration. Member of BABICM and IRCM. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Strong influencing skills with the ability to quickly build positive relationships with case managers and referrers. Demonstrates confidence and clinical authority in decision making whilst taking initiative to resolve complex cases and drive service improvements. Capable of working under pressure and adapting to team dynamics. Ability to exercise discretion when dealing with confidential or sensitive matters. Structured and logical thinker, comfortable working at both strategic and detailed levels. Strong attention to detail and deadlines. Excellent time management and proven ability to supervise and manage staff effectively. Strong project management skills with the ability to lead and deliver multiple tasks concurrently. Significant hands-on clinical experience in your relevant field, ideally working with clients who require case management or complex care coordination.
