The successful applicant will be responsible for organising high quality training sessions, and preparing the men's 2nd team for BUCS fixtures Responsibilities Include: - Working in partnership with other coaching staff, including any volunteer coaches
* Committing to develop and cater for club members of varying abilities across the club, by working closely with the Club committee and Team Captain.
* Attend and contribute to any club/team/coach development reviews during the season.
* Taking responsibility for health and safety in all aspects of coached club activity which align with NGB guidelines.
* Leading on the selection of the men's 2nd team for BUCS fixtures
* Willingness to be employed through and complete the Unitemps employment process.
Provide a copy of a personal coaching insurance document and sign a Sport & Active Life coaching agreement.
* To be a positive and professional role model at all times, displaying good coaching conduct and promoting an enjoyable, motivating and inclusive atmosphere, which upholds the ethos of Team Leicester.
Skills and experience
· Level 1 Coaching Qualification minimum (or equivalent)
· Personal Coaching Insurance
· Significant demonstrable coaching experience
· Availability to attend Team Leicester Clubs Training Times and Fixtures/Competitions (where possible and applicable)
* · Commitment to observe and implement the University's policies and procedures.
Start Date: Coaches can only start coaching and start claiming coaching hours once they have completed the Unitemps employment process, signed their coaching agreement and provided a copy of their personal coaching insurance.
The academic term starts on Monday 22nd September
– Coaches will be advised on exact start date, after completing all of the above.
Job Types: Part-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 9 months
Pay: £15.00-£28.00 per hour
Expected hours: 6 – 10 per week
