Position Description
As Head Teacher, you will lead and inspire a dedicated team, promoting professional growth and high standards. Your key responsibilities will include:
* Leading a student-centred approach, ensuring all students receive tailored support.
* Strategically developing the curriculum to promote academic achievement, personal growth, and life skills.
* Building strong relationships with parents, carers, and the wider community.
* Advocating for students with special educational needs, promoting awareness and best practices.
* Managing resources effectively to create a safe and inclusive environment.
* Driving continuous improvement through data and feedback.
* Developing staff through training and coaching to improve engagement.
Requirements
We are seeking a candidate with:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and substantial experience in a senior leadership role.
* Experience working with young people with special educational needs and/or challenging behaviour.
* Strong leadership and people management skills.
* A strategic mindset to balance educational vision with operational demands.
* Excellent relationship-building skills.
* Further qualifications in educational leadership or special educational needs are desirable.
