To manage customers and clients who hold business with AMS and work with the internal organisation to enable AMS's partners to sustain and grow their business. To seek to ensure both sales and margin are in line with expectation and seek opportunities to support the client base in taking additional business from within the Woundcare portfolio.
What the role involves:
* To maintain key customers and position AMS as their preferred supply partner.
* Working with customer service team in managing and improving customer communication on orders and complaint handling.
* Forecasting for specific customers and providing data to Business Unit Director and internal departments on future trends and forecasts.
* Responding to technical questions from customers.
* Provide market feedback to the business.
* Supporting BDM with progressing artwork, change controls and coordinating with internal and external partners.
* Provide performance data to key accounts to build pro-active relationships.
What we’re looking for:
* Science or Business degree.
* Proven relevant key account management experience within a business to business environment.
* Preference given to experience within wound care or medical devices.
* Expanding key accounts via relationship and knowledge building.
* Able to communicate effectively with customers and key stakeholders.
* Excellent presentation skills.
* Broad commercial knowledge.
* Jobholder should be prepared to travel between 25 and 50% of time.
* Home based living within North West.
