Job Description
Location: Cavanacaw Mine, Omagh, Co. Tyrone, Northern Ireland.
Flintridge Resources is looking for a competent and enthusiastic junior or graduate geologist to fill the role of Junior Geologist. You will be joining a small team of skilled individuals where you will assist the other members of the Geology Department with any field work on or off site, associated laboratory work and exploration work. The Junior Geologist will function as part of the team to ensure that collective goals are met, and standards maintained. As part of a small team, you will have the opportunity to gain experience in different aspects of exploration and mining geology.
Job Requirements
· A recognised BSc or MSc in Geology or related Earth Science subject.
· Right to work within the UK.
· Full UK driver's license (preferably clean).
· High level of computer literacy.
· Willingness to join site mine rescue team.
· Experience with GIS software and/or prior exploration work would be beneficial but not essential.
· The Junior Geologist must abide by the site's health, safety and environment rules and follow all risk assessment, policy and procedures.
