Pay & Hours:
We offer our Shop Supervisors a rate of £12.71 per hour, with a 39-hour workweek spread over 5 days, Monday to Sunday. We are open to discussing flexible working hours to suit your needs.
Job Role:
As a Supervisor, you will work alongside our dedicated team preparing fresh ingredients and producing sandwiches, baguettes, and other food items according to our standards, while delivering excellent customer service and selling high-quality fresh food. You will be trained to Wenzel’s standards with potential for advancement.
You will assist the Shop Manager with daily operations, supervise the team, drive sales, control costs, and ensure profitability. You will also develop and lead the team to foster customer loyalty.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
* Greet customers and create an inviting atmosphere
* Receive and check daily deliveries
* Assist with stock and produce management
* Maintain shop displays
* Have excellent product knowledge
* Prepare food according to specifications
* Ensure food and produce quality control
* Maintain high hygiene, cleanliness, and food safety standards
* Work efficiently within a team
* Handle cash and operate tills
* Open or close the shop as required
* Manage shifts at various times during the week
* Drive sales and minimize wastage
Previous supervisory experience in retail or customer service is required. Experience in food production is advantageous but not essential, as full training will be provided.
