Looking for a hands-on job that fits around school hours?
Easy Recycling Solutions Ltd is offering a flexible, part-time opportunity at our Watford site for a reliable, friendly, and proactive Metal Recycling Operative. No experience needed – just a positive attitude and a willingness to learn.
We understand the importance of work-life balance and are proud to offer flexibility of around 6 hours a day, with core hours designed to accommodate school drop-offs and pick-ups if needed.
Working Hours (Part-Time):
* Approx. 25–30 hours per week
* Flexible 6-hour shifts between 8:30 AM and 3:30 PM, Over Monday to Friday – 4 days per week
* Saturday mornings available ( 8am-2pm) Flexible
* We'll work with you to agree a pattern that works for both you and your family life
Full Time Role:
Working Hours (Full Time):
* Approx. 37.5 hours per week
* 4 weekdays: 08:00 – 17:00 (1-hour unpaid break)
* Saturday: 08:00 – 14:00 (30-minute unpaid break)
This is a physical, varied role that involves working both independently and as part of a supportive, down-to-earth team. You'll be dealing with customers, sorting materials, and helping keep the site running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities:
* Greet and assist customers with a friendly, helpful attitude
* Sort and process recyclable metals
* Use simple IT systems to log materials (training provided)
* Maintain a clean, safe working area
* Follow Health & Safety guidelines
* Operate basic machinery and tools (training provided)
* Support the wider team and assist in daily site operations

* Willing to learn and not afraid to get stuck in
* Reliable and trustworthy – a real team player
* Physically fit and happy to work on your feet
* Good communicator and basic IT skills is desirable
* No previous experience needed – we'll train you
* Maintain high standards of safety and productivity while adhering to company policies and procedures
* A full driving licence is helpful but not essential
