Electus Healthcare, a Northern Ireland based Care Home provider, is recruiting for a Deputy Home Manager at Saintfield Lodge Care Home, 4 Old Saintfield Road, Carryduff.

About The Role
The Deputy Home Manager will support the Home Manager, maintain high standards of care and ensure regulatory compliance. The role requires a Registered Nurse with an active NMC PIN and experience as a Home Manager or Deputy Home Manager.
Key Responsibilities
* Support the Home Manager and, in their absence, ensure high standards of care and service viability.
* Provide leadership and advice to colleagues; undertake line‑management responsibilities when the Home Manager is absent.
* Co‑ordinate and lead on quality and management of care and treatment for residents, offering support when required.
* Participate fully with the multidisciplinary team and undertake direct patient care as required, ensuring clinical services comply with statutory regulations and current legislation.

Required Criteria
* Registered with the NMC, with evidence of CPD and revalidation.
* Previous line‑management experience; strong leadership qualities and ability to develop a team.
* Up‑to‑date working knowledge of regulatory and procedural requirements for managing the home and resident support plans.
* Strong clinical skills, ability to complete audits, identify shortfalls and implement action.
* Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate a team and drive performance in the absence of a Home Manager.
Desired Criteria
* Leadership or management qualification.
* Good commercial acumen; understanding of purchasing, expenditures and budgets.
