Responsibilities
- Support and/or prompt with cooking/meal preparation and eating meals/drinks.
- Assist with household chores and general homemaking.
- Support in getting to and from school, work, college, and social activities.
- Assist in accessing sporting and leisure activities, including taking the individual to local football matches and community groups.
- Encourage and facilitate socialisation by participatory activities and encouraging friendships and independence.
- Develop a trusting one‑to‑one working relationship.
Additional duties may include helping the individual to find community activities and providing companionship for outings.
Employees have a responsibility to report accidents and hazards immediately, and to ensure the safety of the individual at all times.
Mileage will be reimbursed.
Transport Requirement
Car driver and car owner – must have business insurance. Mileage paid by the employer.
