About the Role: As the Business Development Manager, you will drive strategic growth, forge partnerships, and expand our client base within the art world, working with museums, galleries, collectors, private clients, and institutions.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and execute sales strategies to increase market presence and growth.
* Engage with new and existing clients including museums, galleries, and private collectors.
* Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders in the art industry.
* Manage the full sales cycle from initial contact to closing deals.
* Prepare sales proposals, presentations, and tenders.
* Collaborate with marketing efforts to achieve measurable results.
* Stay updated on industry trends and improve business practices.
Skills, Knowledge, and Experience:
* Strategic thinker with attention to detail and a metric-driven approach.
* Strong network within the art world and excellent communication skills.
* Proven track record in business development (minimum 5+ years) in art, conservation, or luxury industries.
* Proficiency in MS Office, CRM, and sales tools.
* Creative, solution-focused, and customer-oriented.
* Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.
* Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is desirable but not essential.
