Job Description
Responsibilities:
1. Develop and implement strategic plans to expand the company's customer base and increase revenue in across the Aerospace & Defense, Electronics, Medical, & Mining sectors.
2. Identify and pursue new business opportunities through market research, networking, and lead generation activities.
3. Build and maintain relationships with existing clients, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions to meet their requirements.
4. Collaborate with internal teams, including engineering, production, and quality assurance, to ensure customer satisfaction and successful project execution.
5. Conduct sales presentations and product demonstrations to potential clients, showcasing our capabilities and value proposition.
6. Prepare and negotiate contracts, quotations, and proposals in accordance with company policies and pricing guidelines.
7. Stay informed about industry trends, market developments, and competitor activities to identify potential threats and opportunities.
8. Attend trade shows, conferences, and industry events to promote the company's products and services and establish connections with key stakeholders.
9. Track sales performance metrics, analyze data, and generate reports to assess progress towards sales targets and identify areas for improvement.
10. Provide regular updates to senior management on sales activities, market trends, and business development initiatives.

The Successful Applicant
11. 5+ years of industry related Business Development experience and proven track record
12. Machining Manufacturing experience (CNC, Metal Fabrication, Rapid Prototyping, etc.)
13. Strategic ability to identify and penetrate new profitable business segments & key clients
14. Bachelor degree, preferably in mechanical engineering, science or other technical discipline.
15. Strong ability to negotiate deals from start to finish.
16. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
17. Ability to work in a team environment.
18. Project management skills; analytical and problem-solving ability.
19. Sales budgeting and cost analysis skills desired.
20. Desire to solve problems working with customers and internal suppliers are essential.
21. Previous business to business sales experience desired
22. Experience and industry contacts within the Aerospace, Medical, Electronics, Military markets preferred.
23. Solid understanding of business financial fundamentals.
