As part of ambitious growth plans my client is looking to recruit an experienced Management Accountant. The role will assist with the financial processes of a group of companies to ensure accurate and timely information is available for Management.
Responsibilities
* Responsible for the finance function and overseeing all day-day finance operations for a group of 4 companies
* Manage the maintenance of the financial accounting system and proceses
* Completion of monthly management reports
* Review management accounts and balance sheets and investigate variances
* Manage the entire year end process and take responsibility for balance sheet and reconciliations
* Monitor financial transactions and internal controls and cash flow forecasting
The ideal candidate
Educated to degree level, with or working towards an accounting qualification ( CIMA ideally, ACA ACCA )
A strong focus and background in finance and a good understanding of technical accounting
Ability to think strategically
Proactive with excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders, both internal and external.
