We are seeking to appoint a Lecturer to teach and support elite sport learners. This will include developing both the curriculum and teaching, learning and assessment strategies that support learners progressing through sport talent pathways.
Responsibilities
The successful candidate will deliver inspiring teaching and learning to ensure all students are supported to succeed, both through face‑to‑face and online delivery. Learner progress will be monitored to ensure target grades are met and all learners achieve to the best of their ability.
Qualifications & Requirements
The ideal candidate will have a relevant degree and teaching qualification, extensive teaching and vocational experience in further education, and experience of elite sport and high‑performance environments.
A full, valid driver’s licence and the ability to travel to off‑site locations are required.
You will possess strong interpersonal, organisational, planning and administrative skills, and be able to work to deadlines. Knowledge of a range of teaching methodologies, including online delivery, is essential.
