About the Role
We at Aspire People are delighted to announce we are now working alongside a primary school in Oldham, Greater Manchester who are seeking a reliable and proactive School Caretaker to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, safety, and overall upkeep of our premises. This is a hands-on role that requires attention to detail and a commitment to providing a welcoming environment for staff and visitors. Working hours involves a split shift of 7am-10am and 2pm-5:30pm but negotiable.

Key Responsibilities
* Ensure the building and grounds are clean, safe, and well-maintained.
* Carry out minor repairs and basic maintenance tasks.
* Monitor security systems and ensure premises are secure.
* Manage waste disposal and recycling.
* Report any issues or hazards promptly.

Skills & Experience
* Previous experience in a caretaker or maintenance role is desirable.
* Basic knowledge of health and safety regulations.
* Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
* Good communication skills and a positive attitude.
* Physically fit and able to carry out manual tasks.
