Job Overview
We are looking to recruit a Design Engineer to join our offshore operation division. The successful candidate will join a growing team with senior support, and will have the opportunity as their career progresses to acquire a broad range of skills and experience in design and project management.
The role will require essential engineering, communication and project delivery skills. Daily tasks will vary from solution concept design to project management support. You will form part of a dynamic team with a variety of skill sets who support multiple project across the EU.
Duties
* Work within existing team of project managers, site managers and software engineering
* Design from concept through to completion solutions as required by the business and projects
* Development of Preliminary and Detailed Design reports, calculations and drawings
* Produce 3D models to assist with fabrications & visualisation
* Ensuring all designs are completed in accordance with the relevant standards and specifications
* Assist in daily project management, progress meetings and client reporting
* Undertake site visits to carry out surveys and support clients in engineering concept development
Requirements
* Engineering degree (Honours bachelor's degree or higher) in Mechanical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Process Engineering, or similar discipline relevant to the specification above
* 2+ years post-graduate experience
* Excellent computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office
* Familiar with one of the major CAD 2D & 3D packages - Auto CAD, Fusion, SolidWorks, Rhino
* Good academic record
* Full clean driving license and own transport required
* Fluent written and spoken English is essential
* Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work on own initiative or as part of a team
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £40,000.00-£55,000.00 per year
