A Primary School in Newbiggin Hall’s brand new ARP (Additionally Resourced Provision) is on the lookout for a calm, kind, and confident SEND Teaching Assistant to join their team this September. You'll be supporting pupils with a range of additional needs, mostly autism and communication differences, and helping them thrive both in class and around school.

What you’ll be doing:
1. Supporting children 1:1 and in small groups with tailored learning
2. Helping pupils feel safe, understood, and confident
3. Working closely with teachers, therapists, and parents
4. Bringing structure, fun, and calm to the classroom
What we’re looking for:
5. Experience supporting children or young people with SEND
6. A warm, patient, and proactive approach
7. Strong communication skills and a sense of humour (essential!)
