Marketing Officer - Frontline Services (Fixed Term)

Do you have a passion for marketing and want to make a difference where it really counts?
We're looking for a creative, motivated, and community-focused Marketing Officer to lead promotional activity for our frontline services — the essential everyday services that keep Dumfries and Galloway running smoothly.
From waste and recycling to roads, transport, and school meals, your work will help residents understand, access, and value the services they rely on most.
What You'll Be Doing
1. Planning and delivering creative marketing campaigns for key public services
2. Managing marketing across digital, print, outdoor media, and other channels
3. Collaborating with internal teams, partner organisations, and community groups
4. Using data and insights to evaluate campaigns and continually improve our reach
What We're Looking For
* A degree in Marketing, Communications, or equivalent, and a passion for marketing
* Proven experience in delivering impactful campaigns
* Excellent writing, editing, and storytelling skills
* A good understanding of digital platforms and analytics
* A proactive approach and ability to manage multiple priorities
* A commitment to public service and reaching communities
