What are we looking for :
An experienced and results-driven National Account Manager responsible for overseeing strategic relationships with key retail and trade partners across the country. Focused on growing revenue, improving account performance, and ensuring customer satisfaction by delivering tailored hardware solutions to both commercial (B2B) and consumer (B2C) markets.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage and grow national key accounts across retail chains, trade merchants, and online platforms.
* Develop and execute account plans aligned with sales targets and customer growth strategies.
* Collaborate with internal teams (sales, marketing, logistics, and procurement) to ensure product availability, pricing competitiveness, and promotional effectiveness.
* Negotiate commercial terms and contracts with major accounts to maximize profitability and market share.
* Analyse sales data and market trends to identify opportunities, mitigate risks, and drive performance improvements.
* Represent the business at trade shows, supplier meetings, and customer events to build strong relationships and brand awareness.
Key Skills & Competencies:
* Strong understanding of the hardware/home improvement sector and supply chain.
* Experience selling into both trade (B2B) and consumer (B2C) channels.
* Proven ability to manage large, complex accounts across multiple regions.
* Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
* Commercial acumen with a focus on margin, turnover, and stock control.
