Role summary:
The Service Supervisor – will supervisor the service engineers / apprentices, office based, or on site where necessary, with engineers in turn working on a variety of equipment located at sites in a specific region. They must provide detail technical quotations for works identified via engineers reports, or via the client direct. The SS supports the engineers by utilising their technical expertise as and when technical support is required.
Skills/Responsibilities:
To be successful in this role you will need to:
* Complete technical quotations identified from engineers reports, or via the client direct.
* Assist the Coordinators with engineer tool calibrations and PAT testing where necessary.
* Carry out engineer Tool / Van / PPE inspections.
* Provide technical support for the Service Engineers.
* Customer Interfacing.
* Engineer Health and Safety support including completing RAMS.
* Operational support for the Service Coordinators.
* To provide advice to the customer related to technical installation and/or service issues.
* Understand and analyse relevant technical documents (electrical, hydronic, piping, psychometric) and to practically apply this information to resolve the issues encountered.
* To assist the Regional Service Manager to develop positive customer relationships and service engineer supervision.
