Following the opportunity for the current post holder to take up a secondment offer, applications are invited from an experienced teacher and leader for the position of Deputy Headteacher - secondment, at Aberaeron Comprehensive School.
Aberaeron Comprehensive School is a naturally bilingual school serving a wide catchment area in the centre of Ceredigion, with almost 600 pupils aged 11-19 on roll, including a successful 6th form.
The Governors are seeking a person who can lead, manage, communicate, and collaborate effectively, possessing the experience to be a member of the Senior Leadership Team. The successful candidate will play a key role in evaluating and self-evaluating the school’s work, providing guidance and leadership on whole school matters, requiring extensive experience and a proven track record in school leadership. The school has high expectations for its pupils, and the candidate is expected to promote and contribute to further improving these standards.
The appointed person should be able to offer ideas, develop policies and strategies, and evaluate the school's provision.
