Band 3 Salary Range £28,011 £30,230 per annum pro rata
Distant Island Allowance of £2,482 per annum pro rata
Are you a highly motivated individual who enjoys organising and planning? The Medical Directorate (Acute) and Practice Education team are looking for an administration co-ordinator. This post holder will be responsible for coordinating induction programmes for junior doctors and medical students, liaising with local stakeholders and university partners to ensure all training requirements are met. The post holder will report to the Medical Directorate Business manager and will be supported by the Medical team and the Practice Education team, this post holder will become an integral part of the team. This post would be suitable for those with a clinical background but also for non-clinical staff depending on their experience. The medical education administrator will manage the room bookings for the clinical training department and assist with the organising and recording of medical teaching. The post holder is the first point of contact for all medical students before arrival. Applicants must have strong communication skills, with ability to communicate with a wide range of staff.
You will hold an Administration qualification or have sufficient alternative admin experience. Successful applicants must be dynamic and able to adapt to changing service demands, clear direction will be provided but the post holder will be expected to work with autonomy once established in the post.
