Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Children's Residential Care Worker to provide essential support to children and young people in their homes. This role involves assisting children with daily living activities, ensuring their comfort and well-being, and promoting safe care .The ideal candidate will have experience working with children and possess strong communication skills to effectively engage with external professionals and their families.
Duties
* Assist children with care tasks, and daily activities
* Support children with daily activities, including educational assistance and following their care plans.
* Develop and implement care plans tailored to individual childrens needs.
* Provide emotional support to enhance the quality of life for children.
* Maintain accurate records of the child to progress and any changes in their care plans
* Communicate effectively with children ,families, and healthcare professionals regarding care needs.
* Drive cHolden to appointments or activities as required, ensuring safe transportation.
* Utilise IT skills for documentation and communication purposes.
Qualifications
* Previous experience working with children is highly desirable.
* Valid driving licence and access to a vehicle for client transportation.
* Strong understanding of childcare practices and care plans.
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to facilitate effective interaction with children and families.
* Proficiency in IT applications for record keeping and communication tasks.
