The Opportunity
We are looking for an experienced Solutions Architect to design and deliver bespoke, cloud‑native solutions for end clients. This role is ideal for someone who began their career as a developer, enjoys working closely with customers, and can bridge business needs with robust technical architecture.
Key Responsibilities
1. Design end‑to‑end bespoke technical solutions aligned to client requirements
2. Act as a trusted technical advisor to end clients and internal stakeholders
3. Translate business problems into scalable, secure, and resilient architectures
4. Lead solution design across application, data, cloud, and integration layers
5. Collaborate with cross‑functional teams including product, engineering, DevOps, and security
6. Work effectively with distributed teams across different locations and time zones
7. Provide technical leadership throughout delivery, ensuring best practices are followed
8. Contribute to architecture standards, patterns, and continuous improvement
Required Experience & Skills
Technical Background
9. Career starting as a Software Developer / Engineer
10. Strong understanding of application development and modern architectures
11. Hands‑on Experience designing and delivering custom (bespoke) solutions
Cloud & Architecture
12. Strong Experience with AWS ( EC2, Lambda, S3, RDS, IAM, VPC, API Gateway)
13. Experience designing scalable, cloud‑native architectures
14. Understanding of security, cost optimisation, and resilience in AWS environments
Client & Delivery Focus
15. Proven Experience working directly with end clients
16. Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non‑technical stakeholders
17. Comfortable operating in ambiguous environments and shaping requirements
AI Exposure
18. Practical exposure to AI / Machine Learning / Generative AI solutions
19. Experience integrating AI capabilities into applications or platforms is highly beneficial
Collaboration
20. Experience working with cross‑functional teams
21. Comfortable collaborating with teams across multiple locations
22. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
Nice to Have
23. AWS Certifications (Solution Architect preferred)
24. Experience with event‑driven or microservices architectures
25. Knowledge of DevOps / CI‑CD practices
26. Experience in consultancy or client‑facing delivery environments
