Airport Team Leader – Glasgow Airport
Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday, 5 days on / 2 days off, 09:00 – 17:30
As an Airport Team Leader, you will organize and allocate daily tasks while providing supervision to the on‑site support team. You will ensure that all airport IT service operations are delivered in accordance with established procedures and contractual service level agreements (SLAs), maintaining high operational standards and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
* Supervise and coordinate daily activities of Airport Engineers and Technicians to ensure service levels are met.
* Monitor team performance, ensuring processes are followed and escalating issues when required.
* Support the Airport Manager with operational reporting and provide cover during absences.
* Manage resource planning, workload allocation, and staffing levels to maintain contractual service delivery.
* Drive performance against KPIs to improve service quality and customer satisfaction.
* Ensure customer issues and complaints are resolved promptly and effectively.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and service partners.
* Provide leadership, coaching, and performance management for team members.
* Manage administrative tasks including leave, training, overtime, and expenses.
* Identify training needs and support ongoing development of the team.
Requirements
* Strong knowledge of CUTE, CUSS, and BRS systems, along with Microsoft desktop environments including Windows 7/8/10 and Microsoft Office.
* Understanding of server infrastructure concepts, system configuration, networking principles, hardware types, and IP addressing.
* Familiarity with the ESP product portfolio.
* Previous experience in the airline or airport industry, with knowledge of airport operations.
* Proven line management or supervisory experience.
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
